For our group, we played a flash card game and there was a picture of the original person and the metamorphoses whey went through. If the person got it wrong, we would explain who they were. For example, Acteon was turned into a stag for looking at a goddess while she bathed. We put a picture of him looking at Artemis, and a picture of his own dogs eating him.

I worked with bubbly_vanilla (a.l.) -look above- and with our flash card game the cards got harder and harder as we went along. For example, nobody remembered Argus, who was turned into the eyes on the peacock's tail because he had lots of eyes.
